Melodie infinity.
This is the theme from The Mission, a 1986 film I haven’t been able to watch yet. It’s a very beautiful oboe piece from the renowned composer Ennio Morricone. This piece has a version with lyrics originally sung by Sarah Brightman. Morricone did not allow at first to have it lyricized, but with Ms. Brightman’s constant pleading, he finally gave in. Nella Fantasia was first performed in March 1999 by Sarah Brightman in her One Night in Eden concert.
I recently saw this Youtube video about a contestant from Korea’s Got Talent who made the judges and the audience cry because of his life story. When he sang Nella Fantasia, I got goosebumps! Really a tearjerker that video.
Officially on Hiatus
And yes, it comes to this point. Can’t wait for summer break!
No new melodies for the day. Just something from Astor Piazzolla. :) Spot the mind block!
I have so much to do today but when I heard a B-flat, I had to do this. I have no extra time to record a much polished work but I have to record the initial so I can remember. The sorbetes music will have to wait.
Sorbetes Song
The sorbetes man passed by our street so I accompanied his chime with the piano. I wanted to make a variation but Papa was laughing at me! Cannot concentrate! LOL!
Later.
Something I did before leaving the house for school. It’s a super rough sketch that I’m going to revise some time soon. I can’t seem to continue this piece. I don’t like the Major+7 too. And can you hear the TV?
I’m surprised how I can make time for these things when I have so much work and school projects to do.
My first tumblr entry, although this sketch isn’t necessarily my first one. It’s the latest actually. I want it to be peaceful, like how I want my environment to be when I’m cramming with my school papers and take home exam.
Can you suggest a title for this?
